Common Questions
Is Shibui real Japanese whisky?
Yes, they source from various distilleries (Okinawa etc) and bottle with age statements.
Do you buy the white oak releases?
Yes, we buy the full aged range.
How much is the 30 Year worth?
It retails high, so secondary value is solid but expect a discount from retail.
Do I need the heavy box?
Yes. Shipping without the custom box risks breaking the heavy bottle.
Do you buy Kurayoshi?
Selectively. The Matsui/Kurayoshi aged statements are of interest.
Do you buy Kaiyo?
Generally only the Cask Strength or aged versions.
